Activists within the LGBTQ community were instrumental in paving the road to legal medical cannabis. Throughout the 1990s, they fought for the HIV/AIDS community’s right to wellness – and with their perseverance, the future of legal medical cannabis was forever changed with the passing of the Compassionate Care Act of 1996 (aka, Prop 215).
For the fifth consecutive year, RYTHM is honoring Pride month by partnering with local grassroots LGBTQ+ organizations. Through unrestricted funding, we’re able to support their overall missions, leading to the development of safer spaces for the entire LGBTQIA+ community.

This year’s battery features RYTHM’s signature soundwaves in a full-spectrum rainbow color palette, inspired by the energy and fluidity of the LGBTQ+ community.

For the first year, RYTHM released Strainbow cartridges, which featured our fan favorite strains with unique, made-for-each-other combinations. Strainbow is also accompanied by a unique Spotify playlist featuring a variety of LGBTQ+ artists and allies.
In addition, our annual Pride vape battery pulled inspiration from the community’s full-spectrum of color and fluidity, featuring flowing lines and psychedelic colors.
As a part of RYTHM’s ongoing commitment to LGBTQ+ communities, we partnered with eight impactful local organizations throughout Pride Month.
RYTHM celebrated the vibrant LGBTQ+ community by spotlighting independent LGBTQ+ artists, The Vixen, Akenya and Roy Kinsey.
Additionally, RYTHM is proud to continue our partnership with GLBT Historical Society as a Silver Sponsor of an extension of the Gilbert Baker exhibition.
This battery features a modernized version of the Pride flag created by Gilbert Baker. Each color of the wave represents subgroups within the LGBTQIA+ community that were first represented in the Pride flag created by Gilbert Baker.
For the second consecutive year, RYTHM partnered with GLBT Historical Society, an organization dedicated to preserving the history, arts, and culture of the LGBTQIA+ community.
The first ever RYTHM Pride battery draws inspiration from the original Pride flag created by Gilbert Baker, featuring bands of color to represent the multidimensional LGBTQ+ community.
A portion of the proceeds from our RYTHM Pride Pens directly benefited the GLBT Historical Society, an organization dedicated to supporting and promoting an understanding of LGBTQ history, culture, and arts in all their diversity.
