RYTHM is proud to support Breast Cancer Awareness
This October, limited edition pink RYTHM disposable vaporizer pens are available to registered medical cannabis patients at all RISE and GTI-owned dispensaries as well as select dispensaries throughout Illinois, Pennsylvania and Maryland.
Within the cannabis community, breast cancer patients use medical cannabis to treat symptoms like nausea, pain, loss of appetite, and insomnia that result from chemotherapy and radiation treatment. Studies have found that smoking cannabis can be helpful in treating nausea and vomiting from cancer chemotherapy, and other studies have found that inhaled (smoked or vaporized) marijuana is helpful in treating neuropathic pain.
Elnora Johnson, a Pennsylvania resident and breast cancer survivor who uses RYTHM vaping products to manage her pain and appetite, said
“WITH MEDICAL CANNABIS, YOU’RE IN LESS PAIN, YOU’RE LESS AGGRAVATED. ONCE YOU CAN RELIEVE THE PAIN, IT MAKES YOU A LITTLE HAPPIER. YOU MIGHT SMILE A LITTLE MORE. YOU’RE MORE ACTIVE AND YOU CAN DO A LITTLE MORE, BECAUSE YOU DON’T HAVE THAT PAIN. I FEEL LIKE I’M GETTING MY LIFE BACK, LITTLE BY LITTLE.”
RYTHM will be sharing stories of medical cannabis patients in our communities who are surviving breast cancer and honoring those lost to breast cancer. Follow RYTHM’s breast cancer awareness campaign on Facebook.com/FindYourRYTHM and Instagram.com/rythm_official.
